Hospital Heroes

Paint kits designed for one children's hospital wing, and donated straight to the kids who are staying there.

We team up with hospitals to create a painting design inspired by something their young patients already know and love. Every kit you buy goes directly to that hospital's children's unit.

Kids are meant to run, play, and make a mess.

A hospital stay takes most of that away. Days are spent in bed, in quiet hallways and clean white rooms, waiting on the next test or the next visit. It's safe, and it's necessary, but it's not much fun when you're seven.

Hospital Heroes puts a paintbrush back in their hands. A kit gives a child something to look forward to, something to work on, and something to proudly show the nurses when it's done.

How Hospital Heroes works

Every design starts with a real place and the kids in it.

  1. We partner with a hospital

We work with the children's wing to learn about their space, their patients, and what makes their unit feel like theirs.

  2. We design from their world

We look for something the kids will recognize: a mascot, a mural, a picture in the window. Then we turn it into a pre-traced canvas that's easy to paint.

  3. You buy a kit

Each Hospital Hero kit comes with a pre-drawn 4x4 canvas, a set of paints, and two brushes. Everything a kid needs to paint right from their bed.

  4. We deliver it to the kids

Your kit is donated directly to the hospital it was designed for, and handed to a child who could use a bright spot in their day.

Our first Hospital Hero

A baby highland cow in the window at Munson

At Munson Medical Center, someone drew a fluffy baby highland cow, sunflower tucked behind one ear, on the window of the children's unit. It's one of the first friendly faces kids see on the floor, and one they look at every day of their stay.

So we turned it into a painting they could make themselves. We traced that same cow onto little canvases, packed them with paints and brushes, and donated the kits to the wing. Now the cow from the window is one they can paint in their own colors and take home when they leave.

Give a kid a creative day

When you purchase a Hospital Hero kit, you're not buying it for yourself. It goes straight to the children's wing it was made for.
